What is trauma? When I ask this at my talks people shout out things like, combat, domestic violence, child abuse, seeing a fatal accident, terrorist attack etc. Once I realized that we are all living in our own thought created experience I began to see how 2 people can go though the same thing and have a completely different reaction. PTSD is not automatic, its not even a disease, it's a description of where someone is at in that moment. This is good news, it means that when we are pointed in the direction of our own innate wellbeing and resilience, we can recover and be stronger than ever. With love, Chana.
